And just like that, my European adventure has concluded.
Anti-climactic right? Well, I have a lot to catch you all up on. I’ll be posting a handful of posts on what happened after Paris, which includes a short trip to Barcelona, and later after one day in the US, a trip to Mexico. And it looks like in the very near future I’ll be making my first trip to New York City. I swear this isn’t a mere not-so-humble listing of all the places I’ve been — Oh and after Paris I jetted over to scenic Puerto Vallarta; and then a quick trip to New York, because why not? Casual. But no, in actuality I’ve never traveled so much in my life and this is all pretty new to me. Although at this point I’ve become somewhat accustomed to airports and airplanes. As a child I actually used to like airports and planes? Inconceivably they filled me with great joy and excitement, and I would look forward not only to the trip itself but the time spent among the hustle, bustle and crowds in the airports, and the journey onboard. After this summer’s fair share of traveling though, my attitude toward airports has been brought more in line with the general populace to one of begrudging toleration, at times flaring into gentle abhorrence. But alas, the places you get to see at the endpoints make it all worth it.
Stay tuned!
